POSITION SUMMARY
Our innovative company is looking to fill the role of Senior IBM System i Administrator.Day-toDay activities include developing and documenting system specifications, implementing hardware and OS,



maintaining high operational uptime and stringent SLAs, coordinating with applications and development teams a,s well as other operational and project-based tasks, mentoring of teammates an,d developing KPIs and operational standards. This is a high-level position so please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications listed below.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Experience with IBM i / iSeries design, creation, execution of custom CL scripts for automation as/where needed
Administration of setting components including security controls, TCP/IP, BRMS, Job control, performance and capacity planning, system updates, and license management
Maintain system High Availability/Disaster Recovery readiness which includes but not limited to IBM PowerHA and Precisely MIMIX
Experience with managing external storage appliances (V7000)
VIOS management and configuration
Perform platform-specific technical tasks including operating system upgrad
