Job Description

(Technical Writing, Communications, Graphics, English, or equivalent.)
1-3 years of aftermarket experience with the truck or transportation industry.
1-3 years of experience in writing mechanical, electrical, and technical documentation within the automotive segment.
Automotive knowledge (Conventional Vehicle Sound knowledge).
Experience with and knowledge of various software packages including word processing, SGML language, CAD Software (Pro-Engineer, Catia, etc.), and vector-based illustration software (Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, etc.).
Knowledge of different graphic file format conversion types and methods
Robust writing and communication skills.
Interpersonal and analytical skills.
Project management skills, including project planning and oversight as it pertains to technical information development.
Comprehensive knowledge of Commercial vehicle products is ideal but not mandatory.
Completed adequate training for operation on electrical installations in vehicles according to standard STD 871-0003.
