Role Description
The Business Development Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tripura, India. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities in insurance and mutual fund distribution, building and maintaining relationships with individual and corporate clients, and driving revenue growth for Vulcan Insurance. Day-to-day tasks include meeting prospective clients, presenting suitable insurance and investment products, negotiating and closing deals,



and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery. The Business Development Manager will track sales performance, prepare regular reports, monitor market trends, and support local marketing and outreach initiatives to expand the company’s presence in Tripura.

Qualifications
- Robust sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to build a sustainable client portfolio.
- Experience in business development, preferably in insurance, financial services, or mutual fund distribution.
- Solid understanding of insurance products, mutual funds, and basic financial planning concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage time effectively in an on-site environment.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms for tracking and reporting.
