Job Summary

The Professor of Computer Science & Engineering is responsible for providing academic leadership in teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentoring, and institutional service. The role involves delivering high-quality education, leading funded research projects, publishing in reputed journals, and contributing to the overall growth of the department and university.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in Computer Science & Engineering.
- Develop and update curriculum in line with industry trends and accreditation requirements.
- Supervise B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. students.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed indexed journals and conferences.
- Secure externally funded research projects and consultancy assignments.




- Establish industry collaborations and promote innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Mentor faculty members and research scholars.
- Participate in academic administration, accreditation, admissions, examinations, and committee activities.
- Organize seminars, workshops, faculty development programs, and conferences.
- Support placement activities and industry engagement.
- Promote interdisciplinary research and innovation.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- First Class or equivalent at Bachelor's and Master's levels.
- Qualifications as per applicable regulatory norms (e.g., UGC/AICTE or relevant statutory bodies).

Experience
- Minimum experience as prescribed under applicable regulatory guidelines for the position of Professor.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, publications, and academic leadership.
