LBN Associates is looking for an experienced Senior Associate to independently handle audit, accounting and taxation engagements for a diverse client portfolio. This role suits a hands-on qualified with strong technical command of Income Tax and GST, sound audit exposure, and the maturity to own assignments end to end and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Assurance
- Independently execute statutory audits, tax audits and internal audits for companies, firms, LLPs and trusts.
- Plan and lead audit fieldwork vouching, verification, ledger scrutiny and finalisation of books of accounts.
- Draft audit reports, financial statements and schedules in line with Schedule III, applicable Accounting Standards and CARO, as relevant.
- Review the work of junior associates and articles, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Taxation Direct & Indirect
- Income Tax:



Prepare and file ITRs for individuals, firms, LLPs and companies; compute advance tax, self-assessment tax and capital gains.
- Tax audits: Prepare and file Form 3CA/3CB/3CD with annexures.
- GST: File GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C; perform GST/ITC reconciliations (2A/2B) and resolve mismatches.
- TDS: Manage deduction, payment, quarterly return filing (24Q/26Q) and reconciliation with Form 26AS; issue Form 16/16A.
- Notices & assessments: Draft replies to Income Tax and GST notices (e.g. ASMT-10, DRC) and support assessment/scrutiny proceedings.

Accounting & Compliance
- Prepare and finalise financial statements Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Cash Flow.
- Maintain books of accounts for multiple clients in Zoho Books and Tally, including reconciliations and month-end close.
- Handle statutory/ROC compliance (AOC-4, MGT-7, etc.) and payroll-related filings (PF, ESI, PT) as required.
