Job Summary

The Automobile Trainer is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training in automobile technology, vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. The trainer will equip students with industry-relevant knowledge and hands-on skills in automotive systems, ensuring they are prepared for employment in the automobile service and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom lectures and practical training in automobile engineering and vehicle maintenance.
- Train students in the operation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and commercial vehicles, as applicable.
- Teach automotive systems including engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, steering, braking, electrical, electronic, fuel injection, emission control, and HVAC systems.
- Demonstrate the use of automotive diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and service manuals.
- Conduct practical sessions on engine overhaul,



preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and vehicle inspection.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical manuals, presentations, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Evaluate students through theory tests, practical examinations, projects, and workshop performance.
- Ensure proper maintenance and secure operation of workshop tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Enforce workplace safety practices, PPE usage, and environmental standards in the workshop.
- Keep abreast of emerging automotive technologies, including electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and automotive electronics.
- Mentor students during industrial visits, internships, projects, and placement activities.
- Maintain student records, attendance, assessment reports, and workshop inventory.
- Participate in curriculum development, faculty development programs, and institutional quality initiatives.
