Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced
Manual Test Engineer
with 3–5 years of experience in software testing, particularly in functional, regression, integration, API, UAT, and end-to-end testing.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect management, SQL-based data validation, API testing, Agile practices, and core banking or financial services applications. Experience with mortgage/lending products, workflow systems, and Temenos T24 is highly desirable.

The role also involves using
Generative AI and Agentic AI tools
to improve test case design, test data generation, defect analysis, and overall quality engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities1. Test Planning & Design
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Test Managers,



and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Define acceptance criteria and expected outcomes for test cases.
- Review requirements to identify gaps, ambiguities, and testability concerns.
- Prepare and maintain test data while ensuring compliance with data privacy requirements.
- Participate in test strategy reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Obtain stakeholder feedback and sign-off on test artefacts.

2. Test Execution & Defect Management
- Execute test cases for:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- API Testing
- Data Testing
- Security Testing
- Performance Testing
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
- Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams for defect resolution.
