Associate Zonal Head- Health Insurance Job Description

Reporting to Zonal Manager Sales

The Associate Zonal Head is a critical leadership role responsible for driving business growth, achieving sales target and ensuring operational efficiency within an area of branches/location. This role involves leading and managing a team of branch managers, sales managers & other personnel to maximize productivity, enhance customer satisfaction and expand market share. A solid understanding of the insurance industry, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills, is essential for success in this role





Key Responsibilities
- Develop & implement strategic sales plans to achieve & exceed cluster-level sales targets for various health insurance products
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Identify and explore new business opportunities and market segments to expand clusters reach
- Faster and stronger relationships with key partners & Agents
- Ensure that the sales team is well trained in all products and sales processes
- Lead motivate & mentor a team of sales managers, branch managers, area managers and other personnel
- Set clear performance objective, provide regular feedback and conduct performance appraisal
- Recruit, onboard and train new team members as needed
- Resolve conflicts and address performance issues in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with industry regulation and company policies
