Application Support Lead

Roles Responsibilities:

1. Understanding on technical and functional aspects of business.
2. Responsible for application up time incident management for defined IT applications.
3. Have experience to deploy applications running under LINUX /Windows OS, including configuration, troubleshooting, and automation.
4. Must know shell scripting, dos batch commands, power shell scripting.
5. Working Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Windows Linux Operating System. Have basic networks knowledge ? like telnet, netstat ipconfig/ifconfig, nslookup/dig for DNS resolution, traceroute/tracert, A record, CNAME FQDN etc.
6. Co-ordinating with different teams to Identifying the root causes of incidents in order to prevent future recurrence
7. Knowledge of REST API, XML API, SQL Server, Oracle will be added advantage.
8. Responsible for deployment movement of application code / bug fixes / data patches and release management in Production, SIT and UAT environments in coordination with vendors
9. Deployment of software applications and tools

Work Experience:

1.



10 years? experience in supporting IT infra in a high-volume and critical environment.
2. Hands on experience in the area of installation, configuration, monitoring and management of Applications Databases in Linux Windows.
3. Experience in application server log analysis, troubleshooting, management and problem solving.
4. Basic Networking knowledge, should be able to troubleshoot issues with minimum guidance and support
5. Problem solving skills
6. Individual Contributor

1. Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally
2. Good written and oral communications skills
3. Valuable inter-personal skills
4. Must possess strong quantitative, and analytical skills
