Manager - Finance (Controllership) - India's Largest Digital Freight Network, Mumbai

India's fast-growing logistics-technology company is looking for a Chartered Accountant for a Manager - Finance (Controllership) role with 2+ years of post-qualification experience and a solid articleship in taxation, backed by solid knowledge of income tax, GST, and Ind AS. The ideal candidate is Excel-proficient, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance
- Preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly,



and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C).
- Handling of GST reconciliations (books vs GSTR 2A/2B/1).
- Preparation and submission of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q) and issuance of Form 16/16A.
- Handling of income tax assessments, tax computations, and payment of advance taxes.
- Liaison with tax consultants and preparation of necessary schedules and documents for tax audits and filings.
- Monitoring changes in tax laws and ensuring timely implementation of amendments.

2. Month-End & Year-End Book Closure
- Ensure timely monthly closure of books in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS preferred).
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Perform general ledger scrutiny and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with internal teams for accurate accounting and reporting.

3. Preparation of Financial Statements
- Assist in preparation of standalone and consolidated financ
