The Role
As a Senior iOS Engineer in a small startup environment, you won''t just be fixing bugs or building minor features — you will be driving the technical direction of our iOS platform. You will write robust, scalable code while setting the engineering culture for the mobile team. We need a "builder" who thrives in ambiguity, demands excellence, and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of top-tier engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Ownership: Design,
build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Swift code for our iOS applications.
- Architecture & System Design: Make critical architectural decisions that will allow our app to scale elegantly as our user base grows.
- Code Review & Quality: Lead rigorous code reviews. You will be the gatekeeper for code quality, ensuring performance, UI/UX fluidity, and memory efficiency.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Actively mentor junior and mid-level engineers. Guide them in best practices, system design, and complex problem-solving.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely directly with the founders, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features rapidly.
- Performance Tuning: Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and continuously optimize application performance and security.
