Role: Senior Drawing Quality Checker

Working Location: Cochin/Kochi India

Experience: Higher than 7+ & 12+ yrs

Role Purpose

Final quality gate for releasing engineering drawings to production, ensuring compliance and reducing rework.

Key Responsibilities
- Final quality check & approval of 2D/3D drawings
- Validation of GD&T;, tolerances, materials, finishes
- Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME Y14.5 standards
- Drive closure of drawing non-conformances
- Mentor junior designers & quality checkers
- Maintain quality metrics data for regular feedback to the team for improvement

Mandatory Skills
- Expertise in Machining, Sheet Metal, Plastics, Welding drawings
- Expertise in GD&T;, tolerance stack-up




- Positive understanding on Manufacturing processes & surface treatments
- Exposure to CAD applications like Creo, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, AutoCAD
- Exposure to Windchill or equivalent PDM/PLM applications are preferred)
- Enable scalable delivery through proper mentoring
- Develop a process and team to maintain the quality checking process
