Job Description CCTV Technician (2+ Years Experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission CCTV surveillance systems.
- Perform routine monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Install and terminate network cables, power cables, and camera mounting hardware.
- Ensure all CCTV systems are functioning efficiently with minimal downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain service records.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for repairs and replacements.
- Configure remote viewing and mobile access for CCTV systems.
- Maintain inventory of CCTV equipment and spare parts.
- Follow safety standards during installation and maintenance activities.

Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with IP Cameras, Analog Cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and Access Control Systems.




- Basic knowledge of networking (LAN, TCP/IP, IP Addressing).
- Experience in cable laying, camera installation, and system configuration.
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and installation layouts.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Qualification:
- Diploma/ITI/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in CCTV installation and maintenance.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Bosch, or Honeywell.
- Knowledge of biometric attendance and access control systems is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to different project locations if required.
