Ithis Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse – Labour Room to join our eam. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in labour room nursing, maternity care, and emergency obstetric procedures while ensuring compassionate, safe, and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labour.
- Assist obstetricians and gynecologists during normal and assisted deliveries.
- Prepare and maintain labour room equipment, instruments, and emergency supplies.
- Identify and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
- Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
- Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed.
- Educate mothers and families regarding labour, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with doctors, pediatricians, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.





Requirements
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM qualification.
- Valid Kerala Nursing Council (KNMC) registration.
- Minimum 2–3 years of Labour Room experience in a hospital.
- Knowledge of maternal and newborn care protocols.
- Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights.
- Good communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
- BLS certification is preferred.
