We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join our team, specializing in UK Year-End financial reporting and Personal Tax compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations to manage the end-to-end preparation of statutory accounts and self-assessment tax returns. This role requires a high degree of accuracy and the ability to navigate complex tax requirements while ensuring all filings are completed within strict statutory deadlines.

Role & responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize UK Year-End accounts for small and micro-entities in compliance with FRS 102 and FRS 105 standards.
- Manage the end-to-end Personal Tax process, including the preparation and submission of UK Self-Assessment (SA100) tax returns for individuals and partners.
- Coordinate the timely submission of statutory accounts to Companies House and Corporation Tax returns (CT600) to HMRC.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and maintain robust audit-ready working papers.




- Identify and report tax-saving opportunities for clients while ensuring full compliance with current UK tax legislation.
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and finalization of VAT returns across various schemes.
- Utilize accounting software (IRIS, CCH, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) to maintain accurate financial records and streamline reporting.

Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate, Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CA Inter)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a UK-based accounting role or 3-4 years experience in Indian accounting
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with UK Year-End financial statements, Self Assessment Tax return, Bookkeeping and VAT.
- Strong understanding of FRS, UK GAAP, HMRC regulations, and Companies House requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software (IRIS, CCH, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Positive communication and interperson
