The Back-Office Sales Coordinator & Estimator will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by preparing accurate quotations, analyzing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), coordinating with suppliers, and providing prompt pricing for industrial electrical and automation products.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical knowledge of electrical automation products, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quotation & Pricing Management
•Prepare and share accurate quotations for electrical and automation products.
•Respond promptly to customer inquiries received via phone, email, or the sales team.
•Provide real-time pricing for products such as:
- PLCs
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- HMIs
- Switchgear
- Sensors
- Relays
- Controllers
- Cables
- Industrial Automation Components
•Utilize supplier price lists, pricing matrices, and company discount structures while preparing quotations.
•Ensure quick turnaround time for standard quotations and pricing requests.

BOQ Analysis & Estimation
•Review customer Bills of Quantities (BOQs), RFQs, and technical inquiries.
•Identify suitable products and matching part numbers based on customer requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates while maintaining company pricing policies.
•Calculate margins accurately to ensure profitability.
•Prepare standard electrical component estimates within defined timelines.
3. Vendor Coordination
•Coordinate with authorized distributors and suppliers regarding:
- Product availability
- Pricing
- Lead time
- Technical specifications
• Follow up with vendors for urgent requirements.
• Maintain updated supplier pricing records.
4. Sales Coordination
•Act as the primary back-office support for the field sales team.
•Provide pricing support during customer meetings whenever required.
•Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order processing.
