Position Summary
As a FullStack Java Engineeron our Consumer Engineeringteam, you will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our robust consumer-facing software applications. You will work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment to build scalability, optimize backend performance, and create seamless integrations between frontend interfaces and backend services.
This role is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about leveraging up-to-date tools and technologies-including AI-assisted development practices and public cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)-to streamline daily workflows and deliver high-quality health platform solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack applications with a primary focus on robust Java backend services
- Write clean, well-designed, testable, and efficient code using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement
- Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Design and integrate secure, performant RESTful APIs and microservices
- Design, optimize, and maintain relational or non-relational database schemas
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code
