Role & responsibilities
- Set and operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Perform machine setting, tool setting, and offset corrections.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and process sheets.
- Set cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices accurately.
- Handle tool offsets, wear offsets, and parameter adjustments to maintain component quality.
- Ensure production as per quality standards and required cycle time.
- Identify and resolve basic machining and tooling issues during production.
- Maintain proper machine condition and follow 5S and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams to ensure smooth production.

Preferred candidate profile
- 38 years of hands-on experience in VMC Machine Setting.
- Positive knowledge of G-code and M-code.
- Experience in tool setting, offset correction, and fixture setting.
- Ability to read 2D engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi control systems is preferred.
