Our Client, a leading Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency is looking to engage with a Senior Procurement Consultant who can lead the organization's procurement function, ensuring compliance with Government procurement guidelines while simultaneously elevating the quality, competitiveness, and strategic value of vendor partnerships.

The role requires a balanced approach — combining solid governance and regulatory adherence with a strategic, business-oriented mindset focused on value creation, quality enhancement, global benchmarking, and long-term vendor ecosystem development.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement & Value Creation-
- Develop and implement forward-looking procurement strategies aligned with organizational priorities and growth plans.
- Drive procurement through the design and implementation of robust, competitive bidding frameworks that emphasize quality, capability, innovation, and long-term value creation.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand functional needs and translate them into strategic sourcing approaches.




- Establish structured vendor evaluation, empanelment, and performance review mechanisms. Identify and onboard high-quality vendors with strong domain expertise, global outlook, and proven service excellence.
- Leverage supplier arrangements for cost optimization without compromising service quality or compliance standards.

Governance, Compliance & Controls-
- Ensure full compliance with Invest India and Government procurement guidelines, including effective utilization of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal.
- Maintain transparency, fairness, and audit readiness in all procurement processes.
- Prepare and present procurement approval notes and supporting documentation for senior leadership.
- Manage contract governance, service levels, deliverables, and enforcement of performance standards, including penalties/incentives where applicable.
