ABOUT THE ROLE

CBS Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an Electrical Department Head to lead the design, engineering, and execution of control panels for heavy industrial machinery, including centrifuges, separators, and oil purification/filtration systems. The role requires definitive, hands-on experience in control panel design, wiring, and PLC/HMI programming — not just supervisory oversight.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Lead end-to-end design of electrical control panels for heavy machinery — schematic design, component selection, layout, and wiring.

● Prepare and review electrical drawings (single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel GA drawings) for recent and existing machine models.

● Program and configure PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Delta, Mitsubishi, or equivalent) for machine automation and control logic.

● Design and program HMI interfaces for operator control and monitoring of machinery.

● Oversee panel wiring, assembly, testing, and commissioning at the factory and, where required, at customer sites.





● Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant safety standards and applicable Indian/international electrical codes.

● Coordinate with mechanical design and production teams to ensure electrical systems are integrated correctly with machine builds.

● Liaise with vendors for procurement of electrical components (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, contactors, sensors, cabling, etc.), ensuring quality and cost control.

● Lead, mentor, and manage the electrical design and panel-building team.

● Troubleshoot electrical/control system issues during testing, commissioning, or after-sales service, including remote or on-site support as needed.

● Maintain documentation of designs, revisions, and as-built drawings for each machine/project.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

● Definitive, hands-on experience in control panel design, drawing, wiring, and engineering for heavy/industrial machinery.
