Post - Business Development Manager (International)

Job Location - Vashi, Navi Mumbai

Job Summary

The International Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring recent B2B customers in global markets and driving export sales growth. The role focuses on identifying business opportunities, developing new accounts, conducting technical and commercial discussions, negotiating contracts, and converting prospects into long-term customers.

The BDM owns the customer relationship from lead generation until the account achieves stable, recurring commercial orders. Once the customer is established, the account is transitioned to the Customer Account Manager for ongoing relationship management, while the BDM continues focusing on new business acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development
- Identify and develop new international customers for herbal extracts, nutraceutical ingredients, spices, oleoresins, and botanical products.
- Generate qualified leads through exhibitions, digital platforms, referrals,



distributors, and market research.
- Build and maintain a healthy international sales pipeline.
- Conduct prospecting through emails, LinkedIn, virtual meetings, and overseas customer visits.
- Schedule and conduct customer meetings to understand technical and commercial requirements.

Sales & Customer Acquisition
- Present the company's capabilities, manufacturing strengths, certifications, and product portfolio.
- Deliver technical product presentations in coordination with the Technical, R&D;, or Quality teams.
- Understand customer formulations and recommend suitable ingredients and solutions.
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial offers.
- Lead commercial negotiations and close profitable export orders.
- Coordinate sampling, documentation, and product approvals.

Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with procurement, sourcing, R&D;, and qual
