Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Food Technologist to oversee food quality, hygiene, and safety standards across our canteen operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with food safety regulations, monitor vendor and material quality, conduct regular kitchen inspections, and implement best practices in food hygiene and sanitation. This role requires close coordination with canteen vendors, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver protected, hygienic, and high-quality food services.

Key Responsibilities

Food Quality & Safety
- Monitor and ensure the quality and safety of food served in the canteen.
- Conduct regular food quality assessments and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Perform routine food testing, including sensory evaluation and basic quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI guidelines,



HACCP principles, and applicable food safety regulations.
- Investigate food quality complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Food Hygiene & Sanitation
- Monitor overall hygiene and sanitation practices within the canteen and kitchen.
- Conduct regular inspections of food preparation, cooking, serving, and storage areas.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization schedules are followed.
- Verify pest control activities and recommend improvements where necessary.

Vendor & Material Quality Management
- Monitor the quality of raw materials and ingredients supplied by vendors.
- Verify incoming food materials for freshness, quality, packaging, labeling, and storage conditions.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions.
- Maintain vendor performance records related to food quality and hygiene.
