Position Overview

The Head of Events is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events—including academic programs, cultural activities, Annual Day, Sports Day, and Viva-related events—at both school and national levels. The role requires strong strategic planning, coordination, and leadership to ensure high-quality event execution, increased student engagement, and enhanced institutional reputation.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of academic, cultural, sports, and institutional events.
- Develop event concepts, themes, schedules, and detailed action plans.
- Ensure smooth organization of Viva and other examination-related events.

Coordination & Leadership
- Coordinate with academic departments, administration, faculty, and student committees.
- Supervise event teams, assigning responsibilities and ensuring timely task completion.
- Manage logistics, venue arrangements, hospitality, and technical requirements.

Strategic Planning




- Develop an annual event calendar aligned with institutional goals.
- Innovate recent event ideas to enhance student participation and brand visibility.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and external partnerships.

Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all events follow institutional policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee risk management plans and emergency protocols during events.

Communication & Reporting
- Prepare event reports, attendance records, feedback summaries, and improvement plans.
- Serve as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Education, Management, or related fields).
- Strong experience in an educational environment, especially in event management.
