Job Description:
- Ability to conduct and lead supplier audits, evaluate processes, and identify improvement areas.
- Proficiency with quality management tools e.g PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, GD&T; etc.
- Capable to do detailed part dimensional feasibility based on 3D data and 2D Drawings.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing process Mandatory: Stamping, Welding (MIG/CMT/Laser/MAG/Resistance), stamping toolings, weld cells, weld fixtures etc. Knowledge of tooling for fine blanking is added advantage.
- Able to prepare required FTG for new development parts, Able to derive tool / Fixture / gauges sizes, Blank layout and consumption calculations.
- Able to conduct Tooling, Welding Fixtures and Gauges design review and Give Feedback to supplier.
- Able to monitor APQP, Conduct PTR and Run @ Rate, PPAP and PSW Signoff for supplier parts.
- Communication and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication
- Knowledge and able to conduct supplier audits for special process like Welding, coating and Heat treatment (CQI 15,CQI 12,CQI 9).
- Perform on-site supplier visits & manage for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
- Involve from design stage with engineering team for right supplier on board & first-time right samples.
- CSR (Customer specific Requirement) knowledge – e.g. Renault Nissan, Mahindra, TATA, Stellantis, Honda, MSIL, Toyota etc. JOEM, COEM, Indian OEM
- Initiate & drive supplier escalation meeting at all levels pro-actively
- Drive cost avoidance / saving projects.
- Knowledge about Fastener manufacturing Process and Heat Treatment process.
- Steel Knowledge for Automotive application.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 to 12 years + experience in Tier-1 (preferably in seating & MNC) and OR OEM working experience in structures commodity.
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Solid professional ethics.
Qualification:
- B.E. (Mechanical, Automobile) OR
