Prepare and formulate coatings samples according to established protocols and formulations and guidance
from laboratory technician.
Conduct laboratory tests and experiments to evaluate the performance and properties of coatings,
including viscosity, adhesion, hardness, gloss, and durability.
Perform quality control testing on raw materials and finished coatings products.
Analyze and interpret test results, and prepare reports summarizing findings.
Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory activities, including protocols, procedures, and test data.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment used for coatings testing.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to coatings formulation and application.
Start up and Shutdown of laboratory and maintenance of utilities such as Scrubber, Air Handling Unit

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities





Diploma in scientific discipline in a field related to coatings (Paint Technology, Chemical engineering,
Chemistry, Polymer/Materials Science).
8-12 years of total experience working in a coatings laboratory of a major multinational or regional coatings
or inks manufacturer, or a major raw material supplier.

Education + Experience

Diploma in Chemicals/Paint Technology + 8-12 yeras of exp.
