Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and improve paper quality parameters to ensure compliance with product specifications and customer requirements.
- Conduct quality testing of paper, pulp, and raw materials using standard testing methodologies.
- Investigate quality complaints, process deviations, and product non-conformities; implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate paper grades, raw materials, suppliers, and new product developments from a quality perspective.
- Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), documentation, quality audits, and compliance activities.
- Analyze quality data, prepare reports, and provide technical recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Production, R&D;, Procurement, and supplier teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on product performance, process optimization, and cost reduction.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs,



safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- B.Tech/B.E. in Paper Technology, Pulp & Paper Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 35 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Management, or R&D; within the paper manufacturing industry.
- Robust knowledge of paper manufacturing processes, paper properties, and quality parameters.
- Hands-on experience with paper testing equipment, testing standards, and laboratory practices.
- Understanding of QMS, CAPA, root cause analysis, quality audits, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in supplier quality evaluation and technical assessment of paper products.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Good communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
