Role & responsibilities

Contract Labour, Workforce Management and Business Partnering
- End-to-end management of contract labour and retainer engagements
- Contractor onboarding, agreement management, renewals, and performance reviews
- Ensuring compliance with CLRA Act, minimum wages, ESI, PF, bonus, leave, and welfare provisions
- Periodic contractor audits for statutory adherence
- Building robust partnerships with HODs and business leaders, providing balanced HR solutions while effectively managing diverse stakeholder expectations through diplomacy and influence.

Time Office, Attendance & Insurance Management
- Overall ownership of Time Office operations, including attendance, shifts, overtime, leave, and weekly off management
- Administration and governance of attendance systems (biometric / RFID / manual)
- Monthly attendance validation and closure for payroll processing
- Employee Insurance Management, including:

Group Mediclaim, GPA, and Workmen Compensation policies

Employee enrollment, additions, deletions, endorsements, and renewals





Claims coordination with insurers, TPAs, employees, and hospitals

Policy reviews, coverage enhancement, and premium negotiations

Ensuring alignment of insurance coverage with statutory and organizational requirements

Payroll & Salary Processing
- Accurate and timely salary processing for permanent, contract, and retainership employees
- Coordination with payroll vendors and finance for payroll inputs and reconciliations
- Handling arrears, deductions, incentives, bonus, and full & final settlements

Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
- Ensuring compliance with PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, and applicable labour laws
- Timely filing of statutory returns, challans, and maintenance of registers
- Tracking changes in labour laws and implementing them proactively

Liaisoning & Government Interface
- Liaisoning with Labour Department, PF, ESI, Factory Inspectorate, and Insurance aut
