Primary Job profile for eMerge implementation would include
- Understanding Financial Consolidation concepts.
- Getting trained on eMerge on how consolidation process can be implemented through eMerge.
- Knowledge of Financial MIS reporting
- Understanding the MIS capabilities in the tool

This primary training will be given in-house.

After that, the candidate is expected to work on implementation and provide support for preparing Financial Consolidated reporting and MIS reporting for the customers.

Financial consolidation report preparation involves the following

a. Understanding the Company/Groups accounting data flow.

b. Creation of entity tree structure based on the Holding format shared by the client.

c. Defining the Primary report structure (B/s, P&L; and schedules thereto).

d. Uploading the TB and mapping the TB accounts to the report structure.

e. Defining other input data sources like FA, Opening Balance, Regrouping, Adjustment

f. Generating standalone financials

g.



Tallying the same with the report shared by the customer (and seeking guidance from senior team members to complete the same).

h. Defining the Notes to Accounts as per the structure shared by the customer including defining its input sources.

i. Supporting customer and end-user training.

j. Working closely with the seniors to understand additional activities like Consolidation, Generation of other reports etc.

There would be some junior member / colleague to assist in some of these activities. Once the reporting of one financial period is completed (which happens with the support from customer team also), eMerge is handed over to the customer and they should be trained in its use.

Typically 4-6 weeks are needed for implementation of Consolidation for one customer.

MIS reporting involves :

a. Understanding the flow of information and the output requirements.

b. Defining the basic Budget Vs Actual Report for capturing the information.
