As an early team member, you will have the opportunity to work on core systems and modern technologies, including self-hosted LLMs, semantic search, large-scale product catalogs, and conversational commerce.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer – Backend & Data who is solid in Python, databases, and data-driven problem solving.

You will work across our Python/FastAPI backend, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch,



and LLM-powered systems to build fast, reliable, and scalable product experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Design, query, and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schemas, indexing, and query performance.
- Work with Elasticsearch for product search and retrieval.
- Analyze catalog and usage data to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Work on data quality, normalization, enrichment, and large-scale catalog data.
- Integrate with LLM systems, including model APIs, context and token management, RAG, and vector search workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Product, and other teams to deliver features from development to production.
