Role & responsibilities

Norstella is looking for a Senior Life Sciences Analyst to support the development and optimization of AI models for life sciences and healthcare use cases. The role involves evaluating AI-generated outputs, improving clinical reasoning quality, identifying model gaps, and collaborating with Data Science and Machine Learning teams to enhance model performance.
- Review, rate, rank, and improve AI-generated clinical and life sciences outputs.
- Define quality standards, evaluation frameworks, and preference criteria.
- Identify factual inaccuracies, hallucinations, unsupported clinical claims, and regulatory risks.
- Partner with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and domain experts to improve AI models.
- Analyze model behavior and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.




- Support AI-driven life sciences solutions, proof-of-concepts, and knowledge graph initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile
- Master's/Graduate degree in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with life sciences datasets and AI-enabled applications.
- Experience with structured data platforms, data analysis, and data preprocessing.
- Robust understanding of clinical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulatory domains.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
