Role Overview

The Associate Director - Accounts Payables is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and scaling the Accounts Payable function at 7-Eleven GSC.

The role requires a strategic thinker who can run complex operations at scale, build a unified and high-performing team, partner seamlessly with the SSC organization, and drive next-generation productivity through automation, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities. This is a pivotal role in strengthening global accounts payables backbone and positioning the GSC as a centre of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Operating Model

Build and institutionalize a robust operating model with explicit governance, predictable delivery, and seamless coordination across all finance towers.

Operational Excellence & Service Delivery

Establish and uphold uncompromising standards for accounting accuracy, compliance, and process discipline.

Strengthen controls, enhance reconciliation frameworks, and enable consistent, high-quality month-end and period-end reporting.





Drive continuous improvements in service delivery, turnaround time, and financial data integrity.

Automation, Digital Enablement & AI-Driven Productivity

Lead the transformation of accounts payables operations through automation, digitization, and deployment of AI/ML use cases across processes.

Partner with Technology, Analytics, and Process Excellence teams to enable workflow automation, predictive insights, anomaly detection, and productivity enhancements.

Create a data-driven, KPI-oriented culture supported by dashboards, benchmarking, and actionable insights.

People Leadership & Capability Building

Develop and mentor a strong leadership bench across managers and leads.

Foster an inclusive, empowering, high-performance culture aligned with 7-Eleven's values.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Provide transparency, proactive communication, and consistent partnership on operational issues, insights, and process improvements.
