Role & responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using VB .NET.
- Participate in the migration of legacy VB .NET applications to ASP. NET.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Write clean, productive, and maintainable code.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Integrate applications with SQL Server and other systems.
- Perform Unit Testing and support UAT activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Provide production support and application enhancements.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills
- Relevant hands-on experience in VB .NET development.
- Strong knowledge of VB .NET, .NET Framework, and Visual Studio.
- Experience working on application migration or modernization projects.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Exposure to C#, ASP.NET, or .NET Core is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control tools.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
