Job Description Sales Engineer

Location: Gurgaon Sales Office, Gurugram, Haryana

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Manager – Sales

Employment Type: Full Time

Experience: 2–5 Years (Automotive Industry Preferred)

Qualification: BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Automobile / Industrial / Production Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Customer Order & Commercial Activities
- Process FE (Forecast Estimate) amendments and monitor customer demand changes.
- Carry out actualization activities by reconciling forecast versus actual demand.
- Prepare and manage Purchase Order (PO) revisions and supplementary POs.
- Coordinate with customers for order confirmation, schedule changes, and delivery requirements.

Engineering Change & Project Coordination
- Implement Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and maintain CARV documentation.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Purchase, QA, and Planning teams for smooth implementation of changes.
- Track customer development schedules, milestones, and event timelines for new projects.





Customer Portal Management
- Operate and update customer portals such as:
- MSIL Portal
- TCC Server (MSIL)
- GSN (Honda Cars India)
- Ensure timely submission of customer documents, schedules, and project-related information.

Localization & Import Activities
- Coordinate localization activities with suppliers and internal teams.
- Verify Import Content and Bill of Entry (BOE) documents for compliance and cost control.
- Support cost reduction and localization initiatives.

Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain robust customer relationships through effective communication and coordination.
- Handle customer queries, negotiations, and issue resolution in a professional manner.
- Participate in customer meetings, reviews, and project discussions.
