About the Role

Maxtech Industries LLP is looking for an experienced Cage Unit Manager to lead our manufacturing operations for filter cages and fabricated wire products. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in production management, fabrication processes, quality systems, procurement, and team leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring on-time production, high product quality, cost optimization, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the complete operations of the Cage Manufacturing Unit.

Plan, schedule, and monitor production to meet customer delivery commitments.

Manage procurement of raw materials, welding consumables, tooling, and develop reliable vendors.

Optimize product costing, BOMs, and manufacturing processes to improve profitability.

Establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials, in-process inspection, and final product inspection.

Develop and implement SOPs, work instructions,



inspection plans, and quality documentation.

Plan preventive maintenance and coordinate machine breakdown maintenance.

Design and improve tooling, jigs, and fixtures to enhance productivity and consistency.

Manage subcontractors and job-work activities to ensure quality and timely deliveries.

Control inventory, material planning, and production resources efficiently.

Monitor production KPIs such as productivity, rejection, rework, machine utilization, and on-time delivery.

Lead, train, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor operators.

Coordinate with Sales, Design, Planning, Procurement, and Dispatch teams to meet customer requirements.

Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to welding, dimensional accuracy, wire forming, coatings, and product fitment.

Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
