Job Summary:
Creative and technically solid CAD Designer with experience in woven home textiles for the US market to develop woven constructions, jacquards, dobbies, yarn-dyed designs and production-ready CADs. Works closely with design, merchandising and product development teams to translate buyer briefs and trend forecasts into commercially viable products. Requires hands-on expertise across bedding, curtains, upholstery and table linen, an understanding of current home textile trends, and experience working with US retailers and brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative woven fabric designs, including jacquards, dobby weaves, yarn-dyes and textured constructions.
- Create production-ready CAD artwork, repeats, weave layouts and colorways.
- Translate buyer briefs and trend forecasts into commercially viable products.




- Work closely with merchandising, sampling and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Prepare technical specifications and maintain accurate design documentation.
- Develop seasonal collections for bedding, curtains, upholstery, table linen and other home textile categories.
- Stay updated on US market trends, colors, constructions and consumer preferences.
- Support sample development and incorporate buyer feedback into final designs.

Job Specifications:
Educational Requirement: -
- Bachelor degree or diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.

Work Experience Requirement: -
- 5-10 years of experience in CAD designing for woven home textiles, with strong knowledge of woven constructions, jacquards, dobbies, yarn-dyes and weave developments.
