Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Website Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in testing websites and web applications. You will be responsible for ensuring that our websites are functional, user-friendly, responsive, and free from defects before deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of websites and web applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
- Execute functional, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and responsive testing.
- Verify website functionality across different browsers and devices.
- Test forms, links, navigation, payment gateways, and user workflows.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Prepare detailed test cases, test plans, and test reports.
- Ensure websites meet quality standards before release.
- Perform basic performance and usability testing.
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of Software Testing and QA methodologies.
- Experience in Manual Testing of websites.
- Knowledge of Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Testing.
- Familiarity with bug reporting and tracking tools.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website structure.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of API testing.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium is an advantage.
- Experience testing WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS-based websites is preferred.
Eligibility
- Diploma in Computer Science or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Website Testing/Quality Assurance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
