Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Cylinder Filling Operator to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for the safe filling, inspection, handling, and movement of industrial and specialty gas cylinders while ensuring compliance with company SOPs and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate cylinder filling manifolds and filling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Fill industrial gas cylinders as per prescribed pressure and weight specifications.
- Inspect cylinders before filling for valve condition, leakage, hydro test validity, and identification markings.
- Perform leak testing and quality checks after filling operations.
- Load, unload, stack, and move cylinders safely within the plant.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of filled cylinders.




- Maintain daily filling records and production reports.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear prescribed PPE during operations.
- Report equipment malfunctions, gas leakage, or unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the filling area.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.
- Assist in routine maintenance and plant operations whenever required.

Qualification
- ITI preferred.
- Basic technical knowledge will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in a manufacturing plant or industrial gas industry.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of cylinder handling and filling operations.
- Understanding of safety practices in industrial environments.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Physically fit to handle cylinders and work in a plant environment.
- Positive teamwork and discipline.
