Roles and responsibilities:

● The HCC Coding Team Member will review medical records to abstract ICD-10 codes, specifically those that map to HCCs and RxHCCs

● Coders will follow Medicare guidelines, ICD-10-CM guidelines as well as client specific requirements

● Review, analyze and code patient medical records based on client specific guidelines for the project

● Follow ICD-10-CM Coding Guidelines and interpret coding guidelines for accurate code assignment

● Follow Risk Adjustment Data Abstraction Rules

● Will be required to maintain an ongoing productivity level based on project requirements

● Ensure individual compliance with all privacy and security rules and regulations and commit to the protection of all Company confidential information, including but not limited to, Personal Health Information

● Audit retro and concurrent medical provider clinical documentation while adhering to Medicare guidelines

● Review documentation to assign/audit correct diagnosis codes

● Identify areas for documentation improvement and effectively communicate with staff and supervisor





● Perform in a professional manner, exercising positive judgement and ethical standards. Interacts effectively

● Align conduct with AHIMA's Standards of Ethical Coding and the Company’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and support the Company’s Ethics and Compliance Program

● Comply with all internal policies and procedures

● Must maintain a 95% accuracy rate or above.

● Be reliable and maintain a high level of confidentiality within all aspects of job performance

Education: Bachelor's Degree in any life science

6 months experience in HCC coding

● Preferred 6 months to 1+ years experience

● Strong skills in ICD 10 CM and Risk adjustment coding guidelines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹29,000.00 per month
