Job Summary

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. The role includes managing housekeeping staff, inventory, budgets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall housekeeping operations of the hotel.
- Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house areas are clean, well-maintained, and presentable.
- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain service excellence.
- Prepare duty rosters, work schedules, and staff allocations.
- Conduct regular room inspections and quality audits.
- Monitor guest feedback and resolve housekeeping-related complaints promptly.
- Maintain inventory of linen, guest supplies,



cleaning chemicals, and housekeeping equipment.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and F&B; departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, fire safety, and hotel SOPs.
- Control departmental expenses and optimize resource utilization.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping reports.
- Ensure preventive maintenance issues are reported and followed up with the Engineering department.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of housekeeping team members.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
- Minimum 5–7 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in hotels or hospitality industry is preferred.
