- Prepare data bank of Suppliers with respect to category, performance, holding capacity, solvency etc.
- Empanelment of the Suppliers after thorough analysis and reference check within the industry.
- Continuously update databank with respect to ongoing performance of the Supplier for the projects awarded.
- Maintain a data bank of best practices and procurement conditions prevalent in the market/industry in order to achieve efficiency in negotiations and can provide a competitive workplace to the Suppliers.
- Understand in detail the various project needs and finalize the procurement plan for various materials based on the market conditions, organization needs and the supplier market availabilities in consultation with HOD Procurement.
- Coordinate and take inputs from the different internal departments like Design, Planning, Estimation, Execution, Quality, Safety to ensure that the Category Strategy is prepared are covering the complete scope & conditions.




- Work out the relationship matrix strategy for each material / suppliers considering criticality/ availability/technology requirements.
- Coordinate and complete RFQ preparations including BOQ, Technical specs, Drawings etc. with the support of the Purchase Executive
- Based on the project need / constraints, identify and shortlist the pre-bid Suppliers, arranging all the pre-bid documents (projects in hand, financial documents, past completed projects, etc.) which will help in finalizing the Supplier panel for RFQ.
- Put up the shortlisted Supplier's panel list to the HOD Procurement, after checking the pre-qualification of Suppliers based on the project value / challenges.
- Coordinate and manage the complete RFQ process including RFQ launch, pre-bid technical meeting, follow up and receipt of technical bids and priced BOQ, RFQ opening procedure.
- Follow up with the bidders for RFQ Submittals within the specified time limit along with all mandatory submittals.
