About The Role
We are seeking a
Senior Database Migration Engineer
to lead the migration of
petabyte-scale MySQL databases
from on-premises environments to
Amazon Aurora MySQL
. This role focuses on designing and executing large-scale, near-zero downtime migrations while ensuring data integrity, high availability, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end migration of large-scale MySQL databases to Amazon Aurora MySQL.
- Design migration strategies using replication, CDC, and incremental synchronization.
- Execute cutover,



rollback, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Optimize MySQL performance, indexing, query tuning, and replication.
- Configure and manage Aurora, backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
