Role Description
The Senior Resident, Junior Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based at KIMS, Bhubaneswar. The individual will provide high-quality clinical care in their specialty, including assessing patients, ordering and interpreting investigations, planning and delivering treatment, and participating in ward rounds and outpatient clinics. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with multidisciplinary teams,



ensuring accurate documentation within the hospital information system, following established protocols, and supporting junior medical staff and students in clinical learning. The role also involves participation in clinical audits, case presentations, and academic activities to maintain standards of care and contribute to continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Qualifications
- Completed MBBS degree from a recognized institution, with appropriate registration with the relevant medical council.
- Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS or equivalent) in a relevant specialty for the Junior Consultant role; completion of residency training for the Senior Resident role.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedural care within the chosen specialty.
