Roles Responsibilities of
Engineer for Ostapal Underground Metal Mine:

?? ? Should impart duties as described in MMR 1961.

?? ? Perform regular inspections and
preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.

?? ? Diagnose and troubleshoot of mechanical
failures and implement corrective actions.

?? ? Prepare and maintain detailed
documentation of equipment specifications, maintenance logs, and operational
procedures.

?? ? Generate reports on equipment
performance, maintenance activities.

?? ? Ensure all underground machineries
comply with safety regulations as per DGMS standards.

?? ? Conduct risk assessments and
develop safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

?? ? Stay updated with DGMS standards
and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.

?? ? Work closely with the MDO
partner to ensure seamless operations.

training to operators and maintenance personnel.

bodies to obtain equipment permissions meant for underground operations.
