Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensuring the product Quality and continuous improvement in the quality of the product /process.
- CAPA on product & process defects and customer complaints related to SCM (corrective and preventive actions)
- Containment actions for quality defect
- Total Supplier Performance Management
- Ensure Calibration of Measurement Systems across Value Chain
- Coordination with Labs for material testing
- QMS implementation and improvement at supplier place
- Customer Complaints Handling
- Supplier audits
- Supplier selection, qualification and development
- Ensure improvement in KPI related to IQC
- Exposure and knowledge Machining
- Knowledge on Sheetmetal, Welding,



Painting and Special Processes (Plating, Galvanizing, Anodizing)
- Interpretation of STANDARDS.
- Positive understanding of drawing - Reading and its interpretation
- Problem solving - Data driven, Discrete manufacturing
- Exposure to audit - Product, Process & System - eye for details through observation
- Calibration Process and Procedures
- Exposure to SPC / SQC
- Familiarity with inspection methodology of different commodities of products
- Thorough knowledge of GD&T; tolerances & other quality control standards
- Exposure in Casting, Forging, Machining, fabrication, Painting, surface treatment, heat treatment and Assembly processes
