Role Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support our U.S. back‑office operations. The role involves reviewing financial statements in QuickBooks, maintaining books for consulting and professional‑service clients, and providing audit support to our U.S. audit team.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and clean up client financials in
QuickBooks Online & QuickBooks Desktop
- Perform monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Analyze consulting‑firm revenue, expenses, project billing, and contractor payments
- Prepare workpapers for U.S. audit engagements (PBC schedules, lead sheets, tie‑outs)
- Support U.S. CPA team with documentation, variance analysis, and testing
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and firm accounting standards




- Coordinate with U.S. team on deadlines, queries, and workflow updates
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across all client deliverables

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / CA‑Inter / MBA (Finance)
- 2–5 years of experience with
QuickBooks
(mandatory)
- Robust understanding of accounting for consulting or service‑based companies
- Experience preparing audit schedules or supporting audit teams
- Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliations)
- Solid communication skills and ability to work U.S. time‑aligned shifts

Preferred
- Experience with U.S. CPA firms or outsourcing firms
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, cash vs accrual accounting, and project‑based accounting
- Familiarity with workflow tools.
