UHV Software Solutions is looking for experienced **Embedded Linux BSP Engineers** to join a high-impact industrial product migration project. If you have deep expertise in **Linux BSP development, kernel driver development, and Yocto**, we'd love to hear from you
Position Details

* **Role:** Embedded Linux BSP Engineer

* **Experience:** 5–7+ Years

* **Employment Type:** Contract

* **Location:** Remote

* **Duration:** Minimum 2 Months (Extension Possible)

* **Openings:** 2

* **Working Hours:** Regular Shift with overlap until **9:00–10:00 PM IST**

> **Note:** Excellent communication skills are mandatory, as interviews will be conducted by a **US-based panel**.
Key Responsibilities

* Port existing Linux BSP to the **NXP i.MX6** platform.

* Develop and port **Linux Kernel Drivers**.

* Configure and maintain **Yocto** build systems.

* Develop and modify **Device Tree (DTS/DTSI)** files.

* Update Linux OS components and application layers.





* Perform hardware validation and system stability testing.

* Document migration activities and technical changes.
✅ Required Skills

* 5–7+ years of Embedded Linux development experience.

* Strong expertise in **Linux BSP development & BSP porting**.

* Hands-on experience with **Linux Kernel Driver Development**.

* Strong knowledge of the **Yocto Project**.

* Experience with **Device Tree (DTS/DTSI)** development and debugging.

* Experience working with **NXP i.MX6** or other **NXP SoCs**.

* Hands-on experience with:

* HDMI

* USB Host

* GPIO

* RS485/UART

* Strong understanding of **U-Boot, Linux Boot Process, and Root Filesystem**.

* Experience with debugging tools such as **JTAG, GDB, and Serial Console**.
Positive to Have

* Industrial Automation or Manufacturing domain experience.

* SCADA / Factory Automation.
