*Purpose of this role: ACM FMCG – Food / Non-Food will work very closely with lead category managers and co-own the responsibility for driving sales, profitability, margin deliverables, and market share within the category. This role involves assortment planning, vendor management, pricing strategy, inventory control, and promotional planning to ensure an optimized product mix that meets consumer demand and business objectives.*

Key Responsibilities:

Category Growth:
- Identify and analyze growth drivers, concern areas, and performance metrics across category, product, store, and seasonal levels.
- Take data-driven decisions to optimize category performance and drive business growth.

Assortment & Pricing Management:
- Define and maintain an assortment strategy that balances product variety, quality, and profitability.
- Work closely with vendors to introduce recent products and optimize SKU selection.
- Execute pricing strategies and promotional plans to optimize profitability while considering market dynamics and customer value perception.

Vendor Management:




- Identify and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers to enhance the category’s offerings.
- Lead supplier negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions to drive cost savings and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and promotional support with suppliers.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards, regulations, and supply chain efficiency.

Promotions & Marketing Collaboration:
- Work with marketing teams to develop category-specific campaigns and promotions.
- Plan and execute seasonal and festival-based promotional strategies to drive category sales.
- Measure and analyze promotion effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
- Collaborate with supply chain and replenishment teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor inventory turnover, shelf-life, and wastage reduction strategies.
