Role Description:
We are seeking a
Technical Officer
– NGS Bioinformatics Analysis to drive end-to-end processing and analysis of complex Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data. You will design scalable computational workflows, analyze multi-omics datasets (WGS, WES, RNA-Seq, Single-Cell), and translate raw genomic data into actionable biological insights.

Key Responsibilities
- NGS Data Processing:
Execute complete primary, secondary, and tertiary analysis pipelines for WGS, WES, RNA-Seq, and Single-Cell technologies.
- Pipeline Engineering:




Build and optimize automated, reproducible workflows using
Nextflow
or
Snakemake
.
- Variant & Expression Analysis:
Perform QC, alignment, variant calling (SNVs, Indels, SVs, CNVs), functional annotation, and differential expression profiling.
- Infrastructure Management:
Utilize HPC clusters (SLURM/PBS) and cloud resources (AWS/GCP) using containerized environments (
Docker/Singularity
).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Prepare detailed reports and communicate computational findings clearly to laboratory and clinical teams.

Qualifications
- M.Sc./M.Tech, in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Hands-on
experience in NGS data processing and computational genomics will be preferred.
