BMC Discovery Required Skills:
Robust hands-on experience with BMC Discovery (ADDM)



administration, configuration and troubleshooting.
Expertise in agentless infrastructure and application discovery across Windows, Linux, VMware, cloud and network devices.
Experience with Service Mapping, Dependency Mapping and Application Modeling.
Good understanding of CMDB integration, reconciliation, data normalization and data quality management.
Experience supporting & managing Hardware Asset Management (HAM) lifecycle processes, including asset discovery, inventory reconciliation, asset onboarding, moves/adds/changes, refresh, retirement and disposal tracking.
Ability to align discovered Configuration Items (CIs) with asset records to maintain accurate asset lifecycle governance.
Ability to create and modify Discovery Patterns (TPL) and troubleshoot pattern-related issues.
Basic understanding of networking & other IT infrastructure fundamentals.
Experience with BMC / Service Now CMDB, Asset Mana
