We're looking for an experienced
CockroachDB Engineer
to join our team and work on large-scale, mission-critical distributed database environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, operate, and scale multi-region CockroachDB clusters
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and data consistency
- Monitor cluster health, replication, latency, and resource utilization
- Troubleshoot node failures, network partitions, replication lag, hotspotting, and performance issues
- Implement disaster recovery, backup/restore, and point-in-time recovery strategies
- Automate provisioning, scaling, patching, and rolling upgrades with minimal downtime




- Optimize SQL queries and database schema performance
- Create operational runbooks and support production incident response

Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with CockroachDB administration and operations
- Robust SQL and database performance tuning skills
- Experience managing distributed databases in production environments
- Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and automation
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools
